Asoil sample has porosity 40% and specific gravity of soil 2.6 Find void ratio, dry density saturated density and submerged density. માટીના એક નમનાની છીદરાળતા 40% અન કણોની વવવિષઠ ધનતા 2.6 છ તો વરકતતા ગ ણોતર,સકી ઘનતા , સાતપત ઘનતા અન વનમગન ધનતા િોધો.

State the applications of flow net. ફલો નટ ની લાકષવણકતાઓ જણાવો.

Aconstruction of a flow net for a dam gave N=4.5 and N =12 .The head of f d water lost during seepage as 2m.If k=3x10-4cm/sec,estimate the seepage loss per day per meter length of dam. એક ડમ ની ફલોનટ માટ N=4.5 અન N =12 છ. અાતઃ સતરવણ વખત હડમા ા ક લ f d ઘટાડો 2m થાય છ. જો k=3x10-4cm/sec,હોય તો ડમની એકમ લાબાઈ દીઠ પરવતવદન થતો seepage loss િોધો.

Explain method for determine the falling head to find out coefficient of permeability અભદયતાના ગ ણાાક િોધવા માટ ધટતા હડ ની વનધાાવરત કરવા માટની પદધવત સમજાવો

During permeability test on soil in laboratory the following observations were recorded. Length of sample=40cm, Diameter of sample =12cm, Constant head of water=25cm, Discharge of water=60cm3, Time=12minutes.Calculate coefficient of permeability. પરયોગિાળામાા માટીની પરગમયતા િોધવા માટ નીચ મજ બના અવલોકનો નોધા વામા ાઆવયા. નમનાની લાબાઈ- 40cm ,નમનાનો વયાસ- 12cm ,અચળ હડ -25cm,પાણીનો વનકાલ -60cm3,સમય -12minutes તો માટી નો પારગમયતા ગ ણાાક િોધો.

Explain the method of finding the permeability constant of soil by falling head method. ધટતા િીરાની રીત થી માટી નો પારગમયતા અચળાક િોધવાની રીત સમજાવો.

During direct shear test on C-ф soil,the sample fails at shear stress 15kN/m2 and normal stress 22kN/m2.It angle of internal friction is 250,find cohesion of soil. C-ф માટી ઉપર પરતયકષ કતાન પરીકષણમાા માટી 15kN/m2 ના કતાન પવરબળ તટ છ. જો તટતી વખત અવભલાબ પરવતબળ 22kN/m2 હોય અન આતવરક ઘરાણકોણ 250 હોય તો માટી ની સસકતતા િોધો.

Draw and explain shear strength Envelop of different types of soils. વવવવધ પરકારની માટી માટિીયર સટરડથએનવલપ ની આકતી દોરો અન સમજાવો.2
